The women announce they're staging a sit-in in the Rec Room until the Department agree to a fair inquiry into the murder. Leanne Burke arrives in Wentworth and most of the women are disapproving of her thanks to Noeline's reputation. Leanne kicks up a stink about being in a single cell, and sets fire to it in the middle of the night. She is put in to share with Judy, but Jim makes snide remarks about Judy's interest in her.
