Summary Commandant Rocher receives a phone call from Isabelle Baron, confessing she took advantage of Judith's disappearance and used her name to run away, but her past is back to terrorize her. When Thomas arrives at her home, he discovers she has fallen from the roof of her house. Convinced she has been murdered and, since he is still suspended, Rocher decides to infiltrate the seemingly normal suburban neighbourhood where Isabelle lived as a child with her parents. He meets Isabelle's mother, who tries to commit suicide, and sister Jade, who is 15 years younger. Surprisingly, Adèle decides to help him, despite Lamarck's opposition.
