Summary McGarrett has been dating a fashion designer named Cathi Ryan. He receives an urgent telephone call from her one afternoon, and arrives at her house to find her apparently having just been killed. Then he is hit on the back of the head, and awakens to find neither the telephone nor his police radio working.
