Five year old rapper Melody Zinn leads the family in season one of Baby Smart. Older sibling Mariel takes on the role of Moogy, a pessimist/ naysayer. On the other hand optimistic Lil Bonnet and Lyric keeps things balanced.

Wakaba (Tao Tsuchiya) is a 2nd grade high school student in Fukui Prefecture, Japan. When Wakaba was little, she admired the cheerleading club "JETS" from Fukui Chuo High School in Fukui Prefecture. She dreamed of joining the "JETS," but she thought it was impossible for her to join and enrolled at another high school. One day, a transfer student from Tokyo talks to Wakaba and proposes "let's do cheer dance together."

Six boys with different personalities and backgrounds are notified they shared the same father. They are entitled to a large inheritance with a test.

Urged by their depressed younger self pondering to end her life, five future versions of a 16yo discuss the meaning of life and its matters to prove that everything can change in a heartbeat and convince her to stay long enough to see.
