Christmas in NYC 2001 and recovery from 911 seems to be mending, or is it? Peter Williams, esteemed concert violinist/conductor at Lincoln Center, is double-crossed by his second wife and murdered by her gangster boyfriend. His dead body is discovered by a scientist and re-energized into a computerized human cyborg, "An American Cyborg". Peter uses his new strength to capture his killers, then reunites with his first wife, his two children and a positive life of helping others with his new powers.

Given the job of training young pilots for important post-war cargo flights, hard-boiled Col. Stockton forces ex-officer Stag Cahill back into the military to be his aide at the academy. Complications arise when Stockton's son Kenneth arrives for training and Stockton, believing his son to be a slackard, looks for an excuse to drop him from the program. Rivalry develops between Stag and Ken as well, as they fall for the same girl.

A tough ex-marine joins a smuggler shipping arms to Chinese bandits. When his old outfit takes on the outlaws,he has a change of heart.

An explorer and her sister tackle adventures that defy their wildest dreams, though when it all comes down to it, it's all in a day's work for them.

His was actually a notch or two better than the first few WEW events, which certainly isn't saying much. While the booking was still a mess
