Summary
Sabine brings back to the flat (appartment) her latest flame, Pascal, supposedly the love of her life. They have a cocktail with Claire and when he remarks that he shouldn't drink another glass on an empty stomach Sabine goes to the kitchen to fetch some hors d'oeuvres. Claire had suggested helping her but Pascal didn't like the idea of being alone. Whilst Sabine is in the kitchen Pascal takes the opportunity of "chatting up" Claire and succeeds as when Sabine returns she finds them kissing.
Claire and Pascal leave the flat and go down to the basement fitness club where they chat at the side of the swimming pool. Claire goes of to the bar to order drinks and Pascal starts to chat up Stéphanie, Claire of course is not happy so Stéphanie takes Pascal to the flat that she shares with Marc.
They arrive at the door and Stéphanie makes an excuse about her house-keeper in order to enter the flat to chack that Marc is not there. He isn't so Stéphanie invites him in for a drink, saying that it was for no other purpose. As Pascal carries on "catting her up" Marc arrives with a large bunch of roses that covers his face. These roses are to ask forgiveness for a macho argument that he had earlier with Stéphanie, but not seeing his face she thinks that Pascal had had them sent. She takes the flowers without noticing Marc's presence. Mark then becomes angry and starts to chop off the flower heads; at this point Stéphanie and Pascal flee and return to the basement.
Claire and Sabine are drinking fruit juice at the bar so Stéphanie joins them - in the conversation that ensues she says that she had no real intentions with Pascal - it was just to make Marc jealous. At this point they notice Pascal "chatting up" Adeline (who is sucking on a lolly (popsicle?) and reading a book). He uses the same line with her as with the others - the French term is "you capsized my life" - "I really fell for you" - So Adeline pushes him into the pool saying "Now you can really say that you fell for me"
And the three other girls applaud.
