S2.E5 ∙ Boyband

Joseph Pinoni (Nathan Lane) is a world-famous opera singer, but because of an accident while pumping his stomach in Italy, he will never be able to sing again. Having squandered all of his money and lost all of his friends, Joseph returns home to his mother, sister, and nephew, who run a vineyard.

The show tells the story of two couples: Mário Jorge and Celinha, and Arnaldo and Rita. Previously, Mário Jorge was married to Rita and had two children, Isadora and Tatalo; and, curiously enough, Arnaldo and Celinha were also married and had son Adonis. Even separated, all meet every day, since they are neighbors in the Jambalaya apartment building, stage of all classes of confusion. The building still counts on the presence of the perverted síndica of the building, "Dona" Álvara, and the two families' maid Bozena, an amusing duck-whistler who observes and participates in the two families' confused lives, along with the beloved Copelia, Celinha's mother, who brings more excitement to everyone's lives.

Martin runs a small cafeteria/bar and his actor-friend Lars is always there complaining about his life and problems.

Everyone wants to figure out why Oscar was screaming on the phone.

Largely set in a teacher's lounge, the show centers on the faculty of a junior high school.

Pauly Sherman is a freeloader. His dad brings home a sexy blonde. Pauly's main mission is to ruin the relationship between his father and her, but he is unsuccessful.
