Summary Glenda Beckford, the Mayor of nearby Darnley and a colleague of Ann's from their college days, is stopping by Mercy for a visit with her old friend. Glenda is also Ann's best frenemy, the two who have been in open friendly and not so friendly competition with each other as long as they have known each other. Ann asks Sarah to arrange a lunch at the best restaurant in Mercy for Glenda's visit. When Sarah tries to crash that lunch, Ann refuses to let Sarah stay, which leads to the biggest argument the two have ever had and which might end Ann and Sarah's friendship. Glenda uses that opportunity to lure Sarah away to work for her. But working for Glenda isn't all that Glenda made it out to be. Ann is equally as heartbroken about losing Sarah both as a friend and employee. Can either Ann or Sarah mend their personal and professional relationships without crawling back to the other? Meanwhile, it's Rayyan's birthday, which Amaar has totally forgot about as he is preoccupied with tasks around the new mosque. At what ends up being Rayyan's one day late birthday dinner out, Amaar basically ignores her as he deals with those mosque issues on his cellphone. Rayyan is angry over Amaar's behavior, while Amaar refuses to apologize for his behavior. When Rayyan hears about the nature of the phone calls, will she understand why Amaar is so preoccupied? And the church and mosque are holding their regular rummage sale. Both Thorne and Baber are offended when they see that the other has donated to the rummage sale what were originally gifts from one to the other. Their offended selves decide to enter into a challenge on who can sell more. But their challenge may be not to get sentimental about their "friendship" first as those gifted items hit the selling block.
