A dark comedy showcasing the wide variety of evil behaviour human beings are capable of.

A small group of well-to-do vacationers go on a hiking trip into the woods. Foolishly unprepared to deal with Mother Nature and their situation, they wander around lost for days and weeks, becoming more and more fatigued, hungry, and desperate. A brief encounter with a pair of epicureans on a bridge fails to garner them any of the gluttons' feast due to a language barrier. Eventually their party begins to die, and the survivors ration their meat among them, attaching a religious-type ritual to its dispensation.

Célio Rocha believes he was assigned by God Himself a difficult mission: to persuade his childhood friend Otávio Sabóia, a corrupt entrepeneur in the construction business, to give away all his possessions to the poor.

A man has an obsession that, if he is to die, it would be by being killed by a high school girl. With his strange obsession in mind, he decides to become a teacher.

This is a dark comedy that takes place in an urban jungle, where everyone has to ensure their own survival. No one is evil, but everyone acts for their own benefit and without considering whether their actions hurt others. Former Sergeant Diogenes Hernandez owns Universal, a precarious private detective agency in the Centre of Bogotá, which is based in the same apartment where he and his wife Fabiola live. His nephew, Clemente Fernández, who works at the Agency, maintains a romance with Fabiola, without trying to hurt his uncle's feelings, but driven by the need to alleviate the empty urban and anonymous man.

Alfred is 64. He's lost touch with his family and a threat to his health makes him realise he wants to make amends. The more he tries to do right, the more he does wrong, and as his past comes back to haunt him, he is forced to face up to what his life means to him. Rounding Up Donkeys is the second film in Sigma and Zentropa's three feature film concept 'Advance Party'.
