Summary Lady Marian, Ingrid Little (sister of Little John) and several other lovely young ladies are abducted as part of a medieval white slavery ring. Robin's attempts to find them are thwarted by the villagers, tinkers and local magistrate who profess to know nothing, but an old man posing as the village idiot leads the outlaw to a ruined castle where the ladies are kept prisoner and launches a desperate attempt to rescue them.
