Franz is a bus driver. One night in his empty bus, Leila, a girl on the run, gets on. Their attempts at romance are quickly dampened as they become helplessly embroiled in an intriguing whodunit when the Head of the Funeral Directors' Association dies under bizarre circumstances. Lionel Fribourg, a great composer (at least that's what HE thinks) has a problem with his noisy environment: he can't complete his unfinished symphony. Of course there is a market for unfinished symphonies but, for all he knows, only one became famous. So he had better find a way to finish it. At long last, he comes across Agnes, a divorced woman who agrees to let him her quiet home. Lionel, full of hope, resumes work...

A serial killer is terrorizing a small town. Mark Bishop has just killed an intruder who attacked him in his home. He's not sure if he killed the real serial killer, but knows he doesn't want the attention. Mark has to get rid of the body and avoid the authorities, but he can't shake the feeling that the real killer is still out there.
