S2.E7 ∙ The Play's the Big Thing

A hilarious dark comedy about a couple returning to their roots as petty criminals in a last-ditch effort to save their struggling relationship. As the plan quickly falls apart, an offbeat ensemble take part in an absurd LA hostage crisis.

Franz is a bus driver. One night in his empty bus, Leila, a girl on the run, gets on. He doesn't have time to deny her a cigarette that the woman has already got rid of her wig and slipped into his bed, but only to have a place to hide till the next morning. In fact, Leila is a charming scammer, shrewd and liar.

A serial killer is terrorizing a small town. Mark Bishop has just killed an intruder who attacked him in his home. He's not sure if he killed the real serial killer, but knows he doesn't want the attention. Mark has to get rid of the body and avoid the authorities, but he can't shake the feeling that the real killer is still out there.

When a struggling actor decides to take the opportunity of a lifetime he screws over his sketchy manager. All the while a mistaken identity and some stolen money from the mob leads to everyone getting mixed up in the payback

Lionel Fribourg, a great composer (at least that's what HE thinks) has a problem with his noisy environment: he can't complete his unfinished symphony. Of course there is a market for unfinished symphonies but, for all he knows, only one became famous. So he had better find a way to finish it.
