Sam, Robert, Richard, Kevin, and Jared comprise a group of movie-loving friends / roommates who become fed up with both their dead-end day jobs and the production industry, and decide to raise the funds themselves to produce an indie film based on their script. All 5 twenty-somethings navigate the streets of Minneapolis on a sunny, Summer day. Each will soon find out that, unlike movie plot lines, life is full of loose ends...

A criminal gang hatches a plan to make money off of newly outlawed films.

Lord Henry Chelford, hiding behind a dignified face and the uncertain step of an old man the signs of former worldliness; his younger brother Richard Chelford, radiating manly confidence, concern for the family tradition and its immaculate shield; the Lord's young, fragile fiancee, Jane Harper, her generous aunt in all things, nephew Arthur, a London barrister and a man without scruples, Lord's secretary, the attractive blonde Mary Brown, Dr Freeman, a doctor always on the verge of boldly correct handling of situations.
