Inept Illinois coal miners Charlie (Ross Hagen) and Thad (Kelly Thordsen) become inept 1930s gangsters.

An ex-con, just out of prison, and his wife meet a screen writer on the train and decide that, since he's writing about crime without knowing much about it, collaborating with him would be better than starting a duck farm. Things get a bit sticky when the real gangsters show up and want to know how Hollywood knows so much about them.

The recently divorced father of a nine-year-old, furious his daughter can't spend her birthday with him, bursts into her classroom with a birthday cake and a rifle. A hostage crisis ensues, and the mayor of the town in which the events take place will try to use the situation to gain advantage ahead of the elections, stopping at nothing. The son of a young policeman is in the same class, and before the events unfold, he'll have to answer a question as well.

Edgar Burgman, after collaborating to assassinate the elder senator husband of Alice Young, the wife remarried. The woman, after a short period, doubts of love Edgar and convinces more and more that, having married out of interest, now wants to eliminate the possession of his great assets.

This political-comedy by famed Director Alejandro Galindo, tells the story of Benito, (Aldalberto Martinez) a widower and blue-collar worker who wants the best for his young son. After reading a flyer promoting the local branch of the Communist Party, this struggling father thinks he has finally found a way to get his just due and provide for his son, while also catching the interest of a waitress he wants to know better. Full of hope and good intentions.Benito joins the union. Ufortunately, he soon discovers that the party leaders are more concerned with their own interests and lining their own pockets then they are with the actual needs of the poor.

Manfredi is a war hero turned unemployed. He is hired by a British man whose life he saved during the war, for a secret mission : to kill a neo-nazi.
