A park is life. Life is a game. Today the game is disc-golf. In a society which takes nature and does what it needs with it, what is fated for this day? This satirical feature chronicles the life of a Texas Hill Country park over one hectic and hysterical day, with an all-Austin cast of comedians, improv actors and philosophers.

The city of Mahagonny, founded by three criminals, becomes a place for people looking for their luck or money. One among them is the lumberjack Jim Mahoney. However, he is disappointed by what the city is.

The 27 years old Nozha comes home with a sense of failure and despair following a long absence after marrying against her family's will.

Kikuji is the scion of an Osaka merchant family whose traditional power is matrilineal. Instructed by his overbearing mother and grandmother to give them an heiress for the family business, he stands by helplessly as his wife is thrown out of the house for producing a son. Driven to a life of dissipation - his mistresses also fail to produce daughters - in the end he is just too tired to care. The film presages Ichikawa's The Makioka Sisters in its World War II nostalgia and visual sophistication.

Police bungling in the war on drugs, televangelism's popularity, and the power of mass media are three strands satirizing society.
