Summary A town has come down with a bad case of gold fever. It's so bad that they kicked their sheriff out of town, because they didn't want the law getting in their way. Saber Rider and April go undercover as prospectors. Saber gets appointed as the new town sheriff. Saber is disguised as an old man, and the appointment is meant as a joke. Colt and Fireball are supposed to stay with RAMROD, but Colt leaves to search for gold himself. After doing some snooping, Saber and April find out that Vanquo is up to his old tricks again. The gold turned out to all be fool's gold.
