Summary Nemesis summons Gattler the Rattler to the Vapor Zone. He orders Gattler to attack the Fort Apache outpost at Cimmaron Pass on Planet Yuma. The Star Sheriffs are playing a card game when they get a message from Commander Eagle that the Outriders are coming. The Star Sheriffs fend off the initial attack. Saber expects the Outriders to attack again at dawn, so Fireball volunteers to go out at night in the Red Fury Racer to scout them. The Outriders do attack again. Fireball tries to get back to RAMROD, but Gattler and the new Renegade unit are blocking his path.
