Timmy Sugrue is a persecuted guesthouse keeper and writer who lives with his mad mother in a very rainy part of the Irish midlands. His only consolation are his visits to Dr. Drudy, a psychiatrist whom he can tell about the love of his life - the President of Ireland. A new motorway puts Timmy's guesthouse off the map. a strange Spanish pilot called marcel comes to visit and create havoc in the guesthouse. Timmy goes to a scriptwriters' conference where only fast, urban and up-beat stories are expected, nothing like Timmy's own story. Uneasy in any of the four provinces of Ireland, he desperately tries to reach the Fifth Province, the province of magic, of passion, of possibility.

After a somewhat unfair treatment with their parents, the witch Charnot becomes the tutor of Rapunzel Nabunzel, a girl who cares in the captivity of a 3D tower. Years later, when she is already a young girl, she is discovered by a red prince who finds the tower in the forest. The prince will talk about the outside world and Rapunzel will have to make the decision to reveal himself and leave.

Best friends and hopeless romantics Boyet and Martha cope with difficult relationships in this comic drama from the Philippines that highlights the special bond between gay men and straight women. As Boyet tries to tame his confusing boyfriend, Dom, who sometimes says he's straight, Martha deals with the frustrations of her long-standing relationship with Steve.
