S2.E18 ∙ Fester Goes on a Diet

Twenty-year-old Doug Zackerjazz has been forced to play man-of-the-house ever since his father died when he was younger. Cooking, cleaning, fixing stuff around the house, paying the bills, playing the family chauffeur, and the occasional trip to the store with orders to buy tampons for his uber-controlling mother are what fill up his life. Out of sympathy and a little bit of guilt, Doug has been unable to tear himself away, but a new woman coming into the scene might give him a powerful new incentive.

In 1984, the former mayor of a small upstate New York town was found dead in his car with a young girl. In the aftermath, his wife and his adopted daughter have to make sense of this situation, while a detective from out of town tries to solve the case.

A middle-class Turkish couple is far from willing to admit they used adoption as a last resort to build a family, and will do anything to keep it a secret.

The atrocities on lower caste people displayed using folklore and ancient kingdom story. The digging of a step well in drought prone area and the exploitation of its lower caste people by the kingdom in a satirical manner.

When Joan Weldon discovers she is dying of lung cancer, she sets out to reconcile her dysfunctional relationships with her three children, her husband, and along the way, her former best friend. The family's destructive ways are offset by messy and somewhat humorous attempts by Joan to set her children on the right course before she dies. In this big dysfunctional mix, they will all learn to connect in their own ways, and realize on their own terms what life is about.
