Franz is a bus driver. One night in his empty bus, Leila, a girl on the run, gets on. He doesn't have time to deny her a cigarette that the woman has already got rid of her wig and slipped into his bed, but only to have a place to hide till the next morning. A serial killer is terrorizing a small town. Mark Bishop has just killed an intruder who attacked him in his home. He's not sure if he killed the real serial killer, but knows he doesn't want the attention.
