On the morning of their 20th wedding anniversary, Teresa's husband Sam goes for a run and keeps on running.

Maria is on a business trip, and during a storm her car cracks up in the middle of the highway. She is picked up by a mental hospital's bus that takes her there but she cannot get out because everyone thinks she is mentally ill.

A young entrepreneur carrying the unbearable burden of a terrible secret arrives on the sun-kissed island of Patmos. The mysterious woman wants to live life to the fullest by helping in secret those in need. Is this life's true meaning?

There has been an increase in movies falling in the genre of Indian-hinglish movies that are being made by young Indian directors who want to express their creativity through the medium of films. The making of such films bring a freshness to the Indian movie scene. That said, some of them lack a strong storyline and this happens to be failing of this "Freaky Chakra" too. "Freaky Chakra" is the story of a lady and the vicious circle of life that she leads. The story has a novel presentation style done by Ranvir Shorie where he introduces the characters one after another and talks to the audience from time to time. It is funny at times like where we see a character about to swallow bills and Ranvir butts in with " oops Typo :Pills, pills ... not bills"!

Realistic and witty, Berlin filmmaker Cueneyt Kaya shows the rapprochement of two worlds which seem violently opposed. 'I always wanted to tell a story set in the Islamic culture in Germany from a realistic, critical and humorous perspective. Too often stories about Muslims and migrants are reduced to Taliban, headscarves, youth violence, and several other stereotypes. The world I grew up in, however, is entirely different.
