Summary Fan was assassinated by an official of Jianchayuan called Teng Zijing. The latter was beaten by Fan and later got the information that the order of killing Fan was fake. Fan helped him disappear and decided to go to the capital to investigate. Meanwhile, for opening the box that was left by Fan's mum, Wu Zhu decided to go to the capital too. On the way, Fan found that he was going to the capital to get married. He met Fei Jie who was taking Yan Bingyun who was punished because of sending Teng to North Qi to run a intelligence network. The latter was trying to rob the waist tag from Fan but was stopped by Fei. In addition, Teng was with Fan and was about to do some other stuff in the capital. After they arrived, a carter took the carriage of Fan and they were passing by a temple. Fan curiously went to the gate of the temple and met a guard who could use his inborn vitality very well.
