The new resident, Daniel, arrives at the hospital and begins to work with Raquel. Maca argues with her father because he seems more interested in his business than in his wife's health; a bit later, he suffers a heart attack and dies. Waldo doesn't know what to do with Vane and asks Alicia why she fall in love with him: the nurse answers that he is a good man but sometimes also too cowardly. Gimeno puts Vilche to sleep with an injection and everybody, mainly Héctor, tells him that he should be afraid of Vilches' reaction when he discovers what happened.
