Summary Wanting more time for himself, Dávila has decided to leave the directorship of Urgencias; the first person he offers the position to is Vilches, but he rejects the offer. Dávila next offers it to Cruz (he had thought Vilches might refuse, so he lined up more possibilities), and she doesn't think twice. A few 15-year-olds sneak into a discotheque; one, Victor, suffers harassment and jeers from the other two, as does Gloria, a go-go dancer there. Víctor returns to the place with a pistol. On this full-moon day, Laura must attend to Alberto, who only has a small shoulder complaint but wants to be admitted to the hospital. Laura gives him the discharge, but he looks for a way to spend at least one night there. He believes that he will become dangerous on the stroke of midnight and asks her to tie him to a bed. Esther arrives late, so is the last to find out that her mother has fallen and broken her hip. They must operate on it at once, and since it is a normally simple operation, Esther considers taking advantage of the situation to tell her mother about her situation with Maca. Marga, a 40-year-old woman, comes to the hospital seeking help with her father Bernardo. She believes that he has accidentally taken a double dose of his pills, but Héctor discovers that he actually took more than four times the dose.
