Summary Fritzi and Sophie are now separated by the border between East and West Germany. When a border officer visits her class, Fritzi starts to question the truths about her country. Meanwhile, Sophie finds that the West isn't as wonderful as she'd imagined. But at least she reunites with Rocco, who made it through the escape safely. Only, Rocco acts as if he doesn't know her.
