Summary Thomas Plateau is a school bus driver in a rural town in Mexico. On his way home from work, Plateau helps Satake Hirofumi, an injured Asian on the street. Thanks to Plateau's care, Satake escaped death. Interaction with local children heals Satake both physically and emotionally.
