S2.E23 ∙ See No Evil

BASED ON TRUE-TO-LIFE STORY.

One day, an assassination takes place in a hotel and Michael is called to the scene. He is a bit late for the assassin as Leo has already finished his kill. On the other hand, terrorist Shek plans to test his newly developed biochemical weapon in a cinema where his second hand, Bob, was trying to kill Leo. Informed by Wai, Michael quickly heads for the cinema, leaving behind his fiancee, Maggie. Unfortunately, both Leo and Michael are shot but only Leo manages to survive. Michael's death shatters Maggie but she still agrees to donate Michael's heart. Wai, however, is enraged to learn that the recipient is Leo and swears to put him behind bars. Meanwhile, Bob tries to attack Leo at the hospital, but Leo manages to get away. He is also found not guilty of Michael's death. When his released, he finds himself changing. He bumps into Maggie and falls in love with her. Maggie, on the other hand, is also shocked to find Leo amazingly like Michael. She is confused when she learns that Leo has caused Michael's death. Then Bob kidnaps Maggie and Leo risks his life for her. This turns her hatred into love, but suddenly Leo leaves. Maggie is lost. She cries her heart out in front of Michael's grave. The sudden appearance of Leo, is it just a coincidence or well-arranged by God .

The world isn't just made up of good people and bad people...it's a lot more complicated than that.

Writer/Director John Michael Hightower Jr {SONG FOR THE WOUNDED, DOWN IN THE DUMPS} brings to the screen a taut thriller about a man who has been dealt a few bad hands, made some wrong choices and wants forever to find hope, and he does, at a price. Seth Burgess {John Michael Hightower Jr} is a former cop turned private eye suffering from the consequences of his past. Drunk and belligerent, he wallows in self pity and laziness. When out of the blue, comes a request from a well to do business man Rick Stansfield {Colin Ochs- SONG FOR THE WOUNDED, A MAN'S WORLD} asking Seth to locate his "missing" daughter. At first he is reluctant to take on the case not wanting to step on the toes of the police, but agrees when he finds out the daughter, Jessica {Cheyenne Petty- DOWN IN THE DUMPS, THE RISING} was a woman with whom he once had a relationship with. Now on the journey, Seth dives headfirst into a similar world that destroyed him as a cop. He gets in deep with the mob and Jessica's new drug cartel boyfriend, Carlos {Ramy Kebbe- SONG FOR THE WOUNDED, BABY MAMA'S CLUB}. Now under heavy scrutiny from Carlos and random assassins attacking him on the road, Seth reaches out to his old partner, Chris {Tristen Crow- SONG FOR THE WOUNDED, WANDERING HEARTS} the very man who testified against him one year prior. Bound by guilt and a sense of responsibility for Seth's current predicament, Chris joins forces with Seth as they both take Seth's case head on to discover not only where Jessica is but also discovering more about the mysterious Rick Stansfield and his true intentions.

The crew of the isolated research station, Orpheus, are forced to confront the unknowability of each other and the hostile planet on which they reside.
