Summary Emmanuelle unintentionally saves Ally's grandmother's handbag by scaring off a thief. Ally decides to publish an article in the high school newspaper about this "modern-day heroine." To Aude's great displeasure, Thomas uses Emmanuelle to spend some time with Ally and answer an interview. The publication of the article causes Thomas to gain unexpected notoriety, who introduced himself as Emmanuelle's best friend. While Thomas appreciates this change of image, it quickly turns into a nightmare when Emmanuelle is invited by Thomas' parents who are convinced, ironically, that their son is going out with this charming young girl. Thomas absolutely must destroy the ideal image he has created to fall back into a slightly more secure anonymity.
