Summary Rudi and Trudi are flying through the stormy skies when suddenly Rudi spies a house and flies towards it. The house looks scary and when they ring the doorbell a screaming man comes running out of the door. They track him down and he introduces himself as Monty and explains that he's very scared and asks them if they are ghosts. He says that his house is full of them. Trudi reassures them that there are no such things as ghosts. Monty disagrees and pulls out a book to prove it. Apparently the house has been haunted for years and the only way to break the spell is to spend one full night inside the house. Rudi and Trudi offer to stay with him. Monty is very jumpy and after a few false alarms a ghostly laugh appears and a ghost flies out of the wardrobe, scaring the three friends out of the bedroom. The house really is haunted! A skeleton chases Monty and the ghost pursues Trudi. Meanwhile Rudi finds the refrigerator but it's empty apart from a bottle. When a ghostly mummy hands Rudi a bottle opener he makes a run for it. The three friends manage to catch the ghosts and lock them in the cellar but they won't stay down there forever. Rather than running scared, Rudi, Trudi and Monty decide to do some scaring of their own. Armed with torn up sheets they dress up as ghosts and mummies and out spook the spooks. They manage to drive out the ghosts once and for all. The sun rises and the spell is broken, Monty's house will be free from ghosts forever.
