Summary Mr. Director fires a department store Santa named Gerard, who is frustrated because he doesn't lead the life of his illustrious model, decides to go to the North Pole and surreptitiously takes Santa's place. The impostor sends the real Santa out and gets a splitting image of Santa himself, steps into his "boots." Nicolas, through his instinct and tenacity, manages to find the real Santa and overthrow the usurper.
