Summary Nicolas is impatient to become Santa at last. He starts to suspect that toys prevent children from growing up faster. So Nicolas takes Santa's advise and suggests that he start by replacing the toys in his room. The next morning, the toys have turned into real things and Nicolas soon regrets the transformation when he is playing with Tim-Tim and Nic-Nac. Later, Santa and Beatrice takes Nicolas and his toys back to his room and he was delighted to have the toys back.
