Summary Nicolas meets Marco, a pal from the orphanage who hasn't been as lucky as Nicolas. Marco's adoptive parents are tyrants and they smash his toy horse. Marco is fascinated when he discovers the life that Nicolas is leading. He persuades Nicolas to invite him to Christmas House for a new toy horse. At first Marco felt guilty for being so lucky so with the help of Santa, Marco got a new toy horse that doesn't break and Marco lives with his new parents that are Inuit Eskimos.
