Earthday Birthday

Summary When the kids discover that they've missed all 63 of Jet's Bortronian birthdays, they decide to celebrate the one-year anniversary of him landing on Earth instead... with an "Earthday birthday" surprise party! CURRICULUM: A year is the length of time it takes for a planet to orbit the Sun. Planets that are closer to the sun (like Mercury and Venus) don't take as long to complete their orbits and subsequently have shorter years than our planet. Alternately, planets that are farther away (like Uranus and Neptune) take longer to orbit the sun. Bortron 7 has a shorter orbit than Earth's, so in Bortonian years, Jet is actually 63 years old!
