Summary Returning to London Robert's group is waylaid by Fedora and her thugs, who steal the incubus, but they are rescued by Garson, Bella and Hils, whom Olalla has contacted. With the incubus in her possession Fedora is able to fully revive Dance but Robert, having learnt Lily's secret, is not best disposed to help MIO until his friends convince him that Dance threatens global security. Tenebrae launches an attack on Bulstrode's headquarters, stealing the all-important Calyx, before arriving at Robert's house for a final, deadly showdown.
