Of course, V.E.N.O.M. is after the treasure themselves. Sly Rax accidentally triggers an ancient device in an underground lake that creates an opening in the walls of Solomon's Gorge and reveals the treasure. M.A.S.K. must stop V.E.N.O.M from escaping with the treasure.
