Summary GARY the Dromedary lives in the desert with his uncle DENNIS. He is always building sandcastles and asking his Uncle difficult questions like 'What's behind the horizon?' 'More sand and more desert, I suppose', replies DENNIS who isn't really interested. He's happy in the desert just looking at the sand. One day GARY's curiosity takes over. GARY asks his uncle for permission to go and see what's behind the horizon.. Although DENNIS doesn't want to join GARY he does give his permission: 'But make sure you're back before dinner time!'.
