Summary The Spellman's Great-Great-Great-Grampa Gandalf comes to Greendale for a visit and to renew his Witching license. The family loves him but his stories from the old days and his haphazard spells begin to unnerve them. If Gandalf doesn't get his license renewed he'll be forced to retire and they'll be stuck with him. Gandalf refuses their offer of help, so the girls must trick him into practicing magic. Because of their meddling, he almost does not pass. But, thanks to his years of wisdom and experience....he does.
