Summary
Norm and Charlie, a successful gay interracial couple with a progressive view on relationships, are looking to break out of their monogamous relationship. They have their eyes on Janice, their daughter's empathetic and intelligent school counselor. Their teenage daughter, Chloe, has been supportive of her parents' unconventional relationship and admires Janice for her wisdom and care. However, Chloe is also navigating her own emotions, as she finds herself developing a crush on Janice's non-binary child, Chaz, who is around her age.
As the relationship between Norm, Charlie, and Janice begins to deepen, the family is confronted with an unexpected complication-Chaz is severely allergic to their beloved non-binary dachshund, Billie.
