Summary Mark is chosen to test pilot a new aircraft at an airshow. As he starts his takeoff roll, a sinister biplane appears and attacks his plane, crippling it and forcing Mark to bail out over the water. The pilot is the mysterious Captain Doom, a space pirate from the distant planet Urgos. Anderson immediately orders the team to go after Doom after rescuing Mark, but the fight ends badly for them as Capt. Doom's plane damages the Phoenix. After escaping back to Center Neptune, the team is ordered back to the mysterious space pirate's home world to face him.... on HIS terms.
