Summary Alex, Quigley, Krag, Leera, and Markus begin their quest for fame and fortune as epic heroes. Unfortunately, the town of Trapsborough has had little need for heroics of late. That all changes when a group of travelers is attacked on the road, and a priest is taken prisoner by villains. Krag and Co. discover the missing priest's holy symbol and fight off a group of hungry, corpse eating abominations. Their quest returns them to Trapsborough, in hopes the church might be able to use the holy symbol to locate Father Langdon. Meanwhile the party seeks out a reclusive alchemist named Simon to ask about a mysterious and volatile substance that was used in the roadside attack.
