S1.E11 ∙ The Unknown Man

15-year-old Andrea wants to recover the love of her father, who disappeared from their lives when he divorced her mother. Andrea remembers a loving father and cannot understand why now he does not want to see his children. Tomás and Fidel, her two little brothers, are her tireless companions in this adventure that speaks of love, family and disappointment.

Tikoyo lives by the Bora Bora lagoon in the South Pacific, where he found a man-eating tiger shark when it was an orphaned baby, just a foot long. He named it Manidu, and it grew to be sixteen feet long. Tikoyo believes that his companion houses the soul of a wise old man, and helps him guard the sacred black pearls in the lagoon. In fact, Manidu does protect Tikoyo and his girlfriend Diana, only eating those who are their enemies, or who seek to destroy their environment, or steal the pearls.

On Sarah's birthday, her best friend Victoria gives her a genetic testing kit as a gift so she can learn more about her family's lineage. But that night, Victoria is tragically killed. Weeks later, Sarah gets a knock on her door, and it's the police. As their homicide case ran cold, they decided to run the killer's DNA through the genetic testing site's database and there was a match: Sarah.

Archeologists Andy and Matty uncover a diary written by a member of Ponce de Leon's search party that provides clues to the location of the Fountain of Youth. They go to Florida to search for the site, but find themselves hounded by a slimy businessman out to profit from the spring and a voodoo acolyte searching for eternal life. Andy's search for clues brings him into contact with Dyanne, a local painter, who seems to know more about the spring than she is revealing.

"Magika", Malaysia's first musical feature film, tells the tale of two siblings Malik and Ayu as they embark on a journey in a surreal mythical world, where trees, animals and all flora & fauna converse... where good & bad are portrayed in a muted, non-violent manner. Their fairytale adventure takes us through popular Malay legends and myths, encountering numerous characters from Malay folklore such as Orang Bunian, Nenek Kebayan, Jin, Badang, Naga Tasik Chini, Hang Tuah and others... and last but not least, where Ayu and Malik discover the importance of family to overcome their fears in the mysterious, magical and musical world of "Magika"
