Summary The gang pretend to raise a hoard off the coast in order to fool two spying newspaper reporters that they really do have treasure. The plan works and news of the island's fortune spreads to the mainland, where hoards of tourists make their way across to seek their fortune. German divers Max and Ilsa recover a chest full of gold bars but when Hawkins was told to send the fake chest to the mainland he sends the one with the gold in error, which ends up in a Napoleonic display at Madame Tussaud's. A plan is needed to get the gold back without alerting the authorities.
