S2.E6 ∙ The Gnome

Three veterans are given magic artifacts by elves that can magically create gold, servants and any other object. They encounter greedy characters and one of them falls in love with a princess.

Czech fairy tale about a shepherd who finds a golden fern with magical powers. He can ensure his continued happiness if he does the right thing, but will he?

The old King (Vladimír Mensík) is not satisfied with his four children. It is high time for the Princesses to get married and for the Prince to assume the reign. Once the King sets out to the fowling and he entrusts the kingdom to the Prince Velen (Juraj Durdiak). His sisters want him to provide them with the bridegrooms. A beautiful girl Evening Star (Libuse Safránková) appears to Velen and he falls in love with her at once. Evening Star also likes Velen and therefore, for a kiss, she helps him to get married his sisters to her brothers Moonbeam, Sunbeam and Wind. After the King returns home he does not find the daughters because the bridegrooms took them right away. The angry King assigns the Prince to bring them home.

Young knight John travels the world in search of fame and fortune, but also to help others and prove himself. However, things go dire fast and he becomes burdened with life's hardships. But then he meets a pretty water nymph, Mary.

Moscow schoolboy Volodya accidentally fishes out of the Moscow River a mysterious lamp, from which the genie Khottabych appears. He promises to fulfill any of his wishes, but each of them turns into unexpected consequences. Magic multiplies, rather than solves Volodya's problems. Nevertheless, the schoolboy is imbued with the genie's problems and, as a result, finds himself in the past, where Khottabych's daughter marries an unloved man. Trying to destroy this marriage and free Khottabych, Volodya and his friends go to an ancient Eastern wedding.

Brought into the magical world by a hurricane, the girl Elli, her dog Totoshka and their friends, Strashila, Zheleznyy Drovosek and Truslivyy Lev, are waiting for new worlds, meetings with new bright heroes and, of course, many both funny and dangerous adventures. In the Violet Country, where the vengeful Bastinda rules, they will have to defeat the Flying Monkeys and disrupt the evil witch's insidious plans by staging a large-scale battle in her palace.
