Summary Tuktuki announces the Word Of The Day- 'Cold'. As Ikri asks for the explanation of the word, Tuktuki shows her 3 examples. In the first scenario, a child is eating an ice cream and telling that ice cream is cold. Someone else takes a piece of ice out from the fridge and says that's cold. In the second example, a mother puts a sweater and an earmuff to protect the child from cold. Lastly, a mother prepares a glass of cold lemonade for her child and says drinking cold lemonade on a hot day feels relaxing. Ikri is happy to know. Ikri and Shiku are on their mission of 'How to recognize winter". First, they encounter Khushi who is wearing a wrapper and a woolen cap. Khushi shows the environment is foggy in winter and dew drops are found in winter morning. Then they meet Chunnumia who collects date palm juice. He says, this juice is collected in winter; and molasses and Pitha (traditional rice cake) are prepared of this juice. Playing tab, Shiku shows how Vapa Pitha is prepared using Rice powder, date palm molasses and coconut. This preparation is done is winter. Next, Shiku and Ikri encounter a frog which is on hibernation inside the earth hole. So, even noticing the hibernation of the frog, winter can be recognized. Segment ends up in a song that signifies winter. A girl child with her dad brings coconut and molasses from market. Her mom makes pitha. Step by step, the whole processing is shown. As the preparation is done, the child eats the pithas sharing with her friends and her mom and dad. Halum and Raya are in their chef's get up in their cook show set. Halum is wearing a woolen cap too as it is winter. They plan to prepare fresh, hot vegetable soup. First, they look for pointed gourd and okra but vegetable farmer Khokamia informs them that pointed gourd and okra are summer vegetables and not available in winter. So, they decide to make the soup with winter vegetables. Finally, the soup is prepared with tomato, carrot, long bean, egg, cornflower, onion and salt.
