Summary Tuktuki announces the Word Of The Day- 'Water'. Halum is interested to know about water in detail. We then see four examples. One is about the sources we get water from and if they are directly drinkable or not (e.g. water from sea river or pond not, from tube well it is). In the second example, we learn about the conservation of water where a boy child forgets to turn off the tap after washing his hands and face and then turns it off as soon as he remembers. In the third scenario, we see the source of safe water. It shows water from the tube well colored in green is safe to drink. Lastly, we see how we and nature are helped on their survival. Getting back to main set, Tuktuki asks for taking care of water. Next, Ikri and Shiku interact on camera. They'll go for exploring birds. Ikri has a ivy gourd fruit in her hand. They come closer to a barren field. Only one tree; all others are cut. Finding a bird, Ikri offers her ivy gourd to eat and tells her to sing. Bird says, she is sad as she has no trees to make her nest. All are cut. Learning from a video, Ikri and Shiku makes a nest using clay pitcher and tying it to the branch of a tree. The bird is happy, Meanwhile Ikri and Shiku plant trees for birds. The bird says, she will lay egg now in her clay pitcher nest and her siblings will live in the trees when these saplings grow up. Afterwards, Bithi's elder brother makes artificial nests for birds. The nests will be made of clay pitchers which are specially made for this purpose. There are guests in their home. They are also learning from Bithi's brother how the nests are built. After the making is done, they all go to the garden beside their home. Bithi's brother hang the nests in the trees with ropes while the kids help picking up the nests to hand it to him. We end the day with Halum and Raya. Fruit salad preparation is going on in Halum Raya's health club. Pressing the button, the images of ingredients apple, guava and banana appear on monitor. They first go for washing the fruits. Each time after Halum finishes washing a fruit, he keeps the tap on that would cause waste of water. But instead, Raya conserves water each time by turning off the tap. After washing of all the fruits is done, Raya explains to Halum about conservation of water. Finally, the fruit salad is prepared but it is noticed that water is still dripping from the tap. Halum turns it off properly.
