Summary Halum discovers a box as he plays under the Banyan tree. He opens the box and finds an animal inside it. Halum doesn't recognize the animal. This bird doesn't have wings so it couldn't be a bird, and then again it's not a fish either. Halum gets very worried. The animal has got whiskers like Halum and four legs as well. Then suddenly Shiku arrives and says to Halum that it's a kitten. Someone must have definitely lost her. Shiku sets off to find out the owner of the kitten. In the meanwhile Halum caresses the kitten. When the kitten begins meowing Halum understands that she must be hungry. He then thinks of taking the kitten to Mukul since he would know what this kitten eats. Mukul explains to Halum how to take care of a cat. Mukul gives milk to the cat. Halum will dance and sing to entertain the kitten. Then he'll plan that he'll make a house for the cat.
