Summary Halum wants to sleep but he can't. Tuktuki starts a story to help him get asleep. She stops thrice in the story after the beginning, middle and the end. She gets asleep but Halum can't. He tries to wake her up to hear another story. Then we learn about the letter "pa". Today's letter is Phaw. Ikri will find out what things have a 'Phaw' in them. Phool (flower), Phoring (grasshopper), and Phoo (to blow), all start with a 'Phaw'. Silvia, a rural little girl introduces her pet animals and birds. She introduces her rabbit, cat, chicken and shows her chickens and eggs. She likes her pets very much. A hen tries to count the eggs. White broods come out of eggs and show their number- 1 to 9 (in Bangla). The hen counts them all. Another yellow brood comes out and shows the number 10 finally. Ganwala is supposed to visit the king's palace. But when he takes one step forward, he got to get three steps back. He decides to take backward steps so that he can move forward three steps. He succeeds. A rural little girl Pinky gets attracted to the quack sound of ducks. With her uncle she got to know that all different animals sound in different ways.
