Summary Sándor Rózsa, in order to pay his accomplices, steals two cattle for both of them. One rogue is on his way home with them, while the other rides off with Sándor to his brother's master to sell them. The farmer welcomes them and tells them that the light bay he stole earlier was the captain-general's horse, and now all persecutors are looking for them. Sándor, leaving his friend behind, rides away hastily.
