Summary Sir Lancelot is being nursed by a hermit and Eleanor, who has fallen in love with him, after he was shot with a poisoned arrow. King Arthur and Gawain seek out the cottage of Vavasour's that Gawain discovered earlier, only to find Morgan there, who tells Arthur of the rumour about Lancelot and Guinevere. And when he returns to court he finds Guinevere on trial accused of killing Guido with a poisoned peach. When Guido's brother Modor arrives he calls for her to face the death penalty in revenge of his brother.
