Summary 400 Years in the past a Russian Deep Space Probe runs across a mysterious derelict spaceship in orbit of Nalder Prime. Cmdr. Molgov decides to do a spacewalk and check it out with Col. Tonya Svetzara. The place is eery and abandoned, but nonetheless menacing. It isn't long before things start to go wrong, prompting Irina Bankov, the junior member of the team, to attempt a rescue mission. Despite a near disastrous attack on the Russian ship, she manages to board the Derelict and learns the dreadful secret of Nalder Prime.
